A little about me.

Since last week, I had a certain subject on my mind, this week I figured I would excite you with the details of my life.

I was born in San Jose California many years ago. I feel this is why i have an affinity for 49er football. I was born on the day BYU won the Holiday bowl in 1986. I feel this contributed to my liking of BYU football. My parents are both from Utah and my dad attended both Utah and BYU. As you could probably guess, I am not the biggest "true blue" fan that exists. I lived in California until I was about four.

My family moved to Utah and took up residence in exotic Sandy Utah. I spent my whole childhood snow skiing, playing soccer, and causing chaos with my two younger brothers, who are relatively close to me in age. One of them actually shares a birthday with me but is three years younger. My time in Sandy eventually came to an end when my family moved back to California.

When we moved back we moved to Morgan Hill California, the mushroom capital of the United States. It is located right next to Gilroy California which is the garlic capital of the world. Incase you didn't know how mushrooms are grown, there is a lot of manure involved. So nedless to say, the area stunk year round with the combination of mushroom and garlic farms.

My family eventually moved back to Utah, which is where I went to highschool. I am a proud Alta Hawk. While in highschool I ran track and cross-country. I now love watching the marathon everytime the olympics are on, and I blame it on these two sports.

I served a mission in Romania for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know one of the most useless languages in the world, being romanian. I do still find a use for it everyday as I currently teach at the Missionary Training Center. I am currently single, and loving life right now. Life is always an adventure!

  3. I like your blog. I never knew that you were such a 49er fan. At least we can share a similarity in both going to Eastern Europe on a mission, there is nothing like it!

  5. Your town in California sounds interesting. What a strange combination of odors those smells must have created. Also, I had two friends who served in Romania. My wife was next door in Bulgaria.
